TRANSIT REFERENCE MODEL, THE NATIONAL ITS ARCHITECTURE AND TCIP : A RELATIONSHIP PAPER

This Draft White Paper, which is still under review by the USDOT and National ITS Architecture Team, is the first in a series of White Papers that will be made available at the TCIP Website leading up to the TCIP2 Dialogs Industry Summit to be held in Washington, DC December 13-15, 2000. The Summit will provide an opportunity for the transit and ITS industries to review and refine the Transit Reference Model that will be described in the subsequent White Papers. The paper describes the methodology that will be used to develop the transit reference model so as to ensure consistency with the National ITS Architecture
