AN ADAPTIVE CONTROL FOR CONFLICTING FLOWS : ITS PROBABILISTIC MODEL
In this paper, the authors describe an adaptive algorithm for automatic traffic control. The algorithm features sliding mode control and a discrete Markov component. The effectiveness of the algorithm is shown using a numerical example.
