ROBUST LANE RECOGNITION EMBEDDED IN A REAL-TIME DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
This paper describes a robust automatic lane detection approach which is part of a real-time driver assistance system. The approach involves two different algorithms which are used to extract measurement points. The algorithms detect marked as well as unmarked lane borders. The system was tested on two experimental vehicles and was shown to perform well under different traffic and weather conditions.
