ESTABLISHMENT OF TOKYO UTMS PROMOTION LIAISON COUNCIL AND UTMS PROMOTION IN TOKYO
This paper provides background information regarding the establishment of the Tokyo Universal Traffic Management Systems (UTMS) Promotion Liaison Council and an overview of future UTMS promotion and marketing plans. The objectives of the promotion plan are included in the following sub-systems forming the core of the Integrated Traffic Control System: 1) Public Transportation Priority System (PTPS); 2) Mobile Operation Control System (MOCS); Environment Protection Management System (EPMS); 4) Help system for Emergency Life saving and Public safety (HELP); and 5) Advanced Mobile Information Systems (AMIS).
