IMPROVEMENT OF RAILROAD CROSSING SIGNALS
This paper describes the installation of railroad crossing obstacle detecting units to improve existing train-sensing crossing signals. The units utilizes infrared rays to recognize a ray-interrupting object as an obstacle.
