A FORMAL DESIGN METHODOLOGY FOR LAND-TRANSPORT OPERATIONS
This paper presents a supervisory control approach, based on controlled automata concepts, for planning the online service operations control of a class of Passenger Land-Transport Systems (PLanTS). It is shown how this control methodology can be applied to demand responsive transit services.
