A FUZZY LOGIC MODEL OF FREEWAY DRIVER BEHAVIOR

This article presents a fuzzy logic driver model that encodes a driver's reaction to all sorts of traffic situations that might be encountered. The model is validated in a simulation of a section of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, where the response of individual vehicles along a road is governed by the driver model.
