ERRI ADAPTS TO SERVE A RAPIDLY CHANGING MARKET
ERRI (European Rail Research Institute) is being forced to adopt a more commercial approach to rail research because its traditional source of research projects, the International Union of Railways (UIC), is cutting back its spending in line with its own more commercial strategy. The article discusses the drive to transform ERRI into a center of project management and expertise for total rail system engineering and emerging technologies.
