AN INTERBUS FOR ON-BOARD TRAIN CONTROL EQUIPMENT ON THE CAN BUS
This paper discusses the design of an interbus in onboard equipment of an automatic train control system in China. Based on comparing different types of buses, dual CAN buses are used as an interbus. The cooperation mode of dual buses guarantees the message interchanging not to be interrupted when there is a fault in the interbus. The reliability and safety of the message transmission is improved by adding a safety transmission support sublayer to the application layer.
