NEW VERSION OF HEC-HMS OFFERS MANY ENHANCEMENTS
This article provides a detailed description of the updated Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) Version 2.2, which was developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is designed to simulate the rainfall-runoff processes of dendritic watershed systems. It is applicable in a wide range of geographic areas and solves a wide variety of problems. The program features a completely integrated work environment including a database, data entry utilities, computation engine, and results reporting tools. A graphic user interface allows the user seamless movement between the different parts of the program.
