DIAGRAMS THAT CONVINCE
Diagrams of vehicular accident scenes are often highly compelling, and accurate diagramming performed in the field on laptop computers has helped produce higher conviction rates. This article describes a software package that allows law enforcement professionals to perform field reconstructions of motor vehicle accident scenes that are drawn to scale and are highly accurate representations. The many features and elements of this software package (called The Crime Zone) are described, and its system requirements are specified.
