STRATEGIC ALLIANCES OF AIRLINES AND THEIR CONSEQUENCES
This article examines the semantics of strategic airline alliances and the manner in which such alliances overcome the bureaucratic obstacles to gaining access to open competition. Conclusions address the issue of aviation safety, which has been inextricably linked by some to the proliferation of air transport activity envisioned in the near future.
