DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW INFORMATION DISPLAY FOR AUTOMOTIVE

In this paper, the authors describe a new black and white Super Twisted Neumatic Liquid Crystal Display (STN-LCD) for use in automobile information display systems. The technology features high contrast ratio using a single LCD layer, and has superior electro- optical characteristics, design, and costs when compared to other LCD technologies.
