TravInfo Field Operational Test Evaluation: Information Service Providers Customer Survey
This report presents findings from a customer study of Information Service Providers as part of the traveler response evaluation for the TravInfo Field Operational Test. The study addressed the usage of Web site information and the travel behavior of Web site users. The key finding of the survey is that Web site service may significantly influence travel behavior. The study showed that drivers who encounter traffic congestion on a frequent basis are likely to access information on a regular basis.
