RECOGNITION OF CIRCULAR TRAFFIC SIGN FROM CONTINUOUS MODE IMAGES USING GENETIC ALGORITHM AND NEURAL NETWORK
This paper describes a new method for traffic sign recognition from a scene image using genetic algorithms. The genetic algorithm is used to recognize the position and size of the traffic sign using continuous mode images. Neural networks are then used to recognize the extracted sign.
