SIMULATION OF FAR-FIELD CHARACTERISTICS AND MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES FOR VEHICLE-MOUNTED ANTENNAS

This article describes the use of monopole antennas for determining far-field gain and antenna radiation patterns. It is also shown that antenna separations may be necessary for carrying out gain measurements using transmission measurements.
