COMMUNICATIONS GIANTS JOIN FORCES : NORTH AMERICAN-BASED MAKERS OF SOPHISTICATED ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT BELIEVE THAT THERE IS GREATER STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
This article describes plans by IBM and Motorola to provide state-of- the-art wireless communications to meet everyday transportation needs of motorists. The program will allow access Internet based information in either visual or audio format by using onboard and embedded electronic systems.
