OKLAHOMA, THE NEXT GENERATION : UNDER PRESSURE TO STANDARDISE, SOME TOLL AUTHORITIES ARE LOOK TO REPLACE THEIR TOLLING TECHNOLOGY WITH EQUIPMENT MORE WIDELY ADOPTED IN NEIGHBORING REGIONS
This article discusses plans in Oklahoma to replace the first generation electronic toll collection systems on the turnpikes with a second generation system that is newer and more modern. The article compares the existing system with other systems, and the impacts that would arise from the changes.
