INVESTIGATION OF BRIDGE VEHICLE/SUPERSTRUCTURE INTERACTION
This paper presents an accurate and reliable analytical methodology for the investigation of the dynamic interaction of a vehicle and supporting structure. The methodology incorporates both the moving mass and moving force formulations as well as a pseudo-static problem formulation. The results obtained through application of the methodology compare favorably to closed form solutions.
