ACI-EUROPE SPEARHEADS DRIVE TO KEEP INTRA-EUROPEAN DUTY-FREE
The article looks at the Airports Council International's European branch - ACI-Europe - last minute efforts to win a reprieve for something considered an anomaly: the retention of duty free for intra-European travelers. The strongest argument for the retention appears to be the loss of estimated 140,000 jobs if duty free is scrapped.
