SOUTH AFRICA RIDES AGAIN
This article provides a look at bicycling in South Africa, both in the past and present, and describes some of the dangers and deterrents to bicycling today in South Africa including rapid motorization, road networks that do not protect cyclists, and scofflaw drivers. A variety of efforts and programs designed to promote bicycling in and around Johannesburg are provided.
