TTP TWO LEVEL DESIGN APPROACH : TOOL SUPPORT FOR COMPOSABLE FAULT- TOLERANT REAL-TIME SYSTEMS
In this paper, the authors present a two level design approach for supporting composable and fault tolerant real-time systems. They describe the composable architecture and the accompanying time- triggered communication protocol. A two level software development environment is then described, consisting of a set of cluster-level tools and node-level tools. This system architecture is intended to facilitate the integration of various electronic subsystems typically found in vehicles into an integrated computer system.
