QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE COMPOUND COMPOSITION OF CEMENT AND CEMENT CLINKER BY X-RAY DIFFRACTION
A method for quantitative analysis of the compound composition of cement and cement clinkers by X-ray diffractometry is described. Compound compositions from optical point counting of 27 cement clinkers were the basis of calibration. Integrated intensities from 11 intervals at fixed positions along the 2 theta axis provided the necessary input for computer calculation of weight fractions of the four major compounds. /Author/
