SAFETY MEASURES IN TESTING LABORATORIES
Safety measures taken in testing laboratories where use of chemicals and solvents occurs must be improved. The more obvious safety hazards such as exposed gears, chains, etc. are adequately dealt with. However, more attention must be paid to the hazards of chemicals and solvents, such as health and fire hazards. This paper reviews the problem associated with safety hazards and uses two case histories to illustrate these problems. /RTAC/
