FROM RESPONDENT BURDEN TO RESPONDENT DELIGHT. IN: TRANSPORT SURVEY QUALITY AND INNOVATION
The chapter uses the following two definitions to explore respondent burden and to suggest some ways of reducing it: the time, energy, demands placed by the survey instrument on the interviewee; and to perceived difficulty or relevance that the interviewee may associate with the survey.
