ON THE ROLE OF QUALITATIVE METHODS IN TRAVEL SURVEYS. IN: TRANSPORT SURVEY QUALITY AND INNOVATION
This chapter makes a distinction between data collection strategies and data collection techniques. A multilevel approach is used in analyzing and presenting the need for qualitative research methods. Qualitative research examples provided include biography, phenomenological studies, grounded theory, ethnography, and case study.
