TRAFFIC PLANNING IN URBAN AREAS
The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the way in which the transportation philosophy and organizational process is introduced to the Technical Planning Committee. It is an attempt to give practitioners from other disciplines an introduction to the background of transportation planning, to identify terminology and to set the climate in which this environmental considerations etc. and thereby give credibility to the planning process. /RTAC/
