This paper is a review of design and construction of current drainage methods and consideration is given to new methods of providing the needed roadway drainage to protect and prolong the useful like of the pavement. The review includes a discussion of the major area of damage, ie. free water, its sources and the treatment used to prevent damage. /RTAC/
