SEARCH OF THE ROUTE IN THE NETWORK OF PUBLIC COMMUNICATION USING A LINEAR SEQUENCE METHOD
This article focuses on the problem of route searching in a public transportation communications network. A new line sequence method for route selection searching is presented. Passenger behavior in selecting a route is analyzed, with travel time, cost, and the number of changes being identified as factors affecting route choice. The public transportation communications network for the city of Kaunas, Lithuania is used as an example in the modelling effort.
