REHABILITATION OF THERMALLY CRACKED PAVEMENTS

This paper discusses the phenomenon of thermal cracking and reflection cracking of pavement, its implications and some conventional solutions based on the field tests conducted at Trout Creed. This experiment is discussed in terms of the construction and performance of various alternatives to conventional resufacing in minimizing reflection cracking when asphalt concrete pavements are rehabilitated. /RTAC/
