LEADING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY SPEEDS MAINTENANCE
The article describes some of the highly sophisticated, computer controlled equipment in use in the Northam traincare maintenance facility. In addition to the general workshop equipment, the facility also has three railway-specific installations: wheel lathe, bogie drop, and train washer. The traincare center is operated and maintained by Siemens.
