FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION
The article reviews some of the latest locomotive control systems that seem to be designed more robust than the electronics on the Space Shuttle. These technologies control everything from electronic fuel injection timing, a.c. traction current, wheelslip control, and engine cooling to LCD cab displays and onboard health monitoring and diagnostics.
