JR ADOPTS HITACHI'S INTEGRATED DIGITAL ATP
In response to the need for improved passenger service and greater management efficiency, Hitachi attempts to contribute to safe and stable rail transport as a total system integrator by harnessing the latest digital and software technologies. The Integrated Digital ATP was launched in December 2002 on the Morioka-Hachinohe extension of the Tohoku Shinkansen, and it is now being used to upgrade existing lines.
