COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK FOR AUTOMOTIVE USE : THE CAR.NET

This paper describes the Car. NET strategy, a mobile computing system providing information and communication capabilities to drivers. It also gives an example of a non-distracting telematics application by describing a speech recognition-based navigation system.
