A DIGITAL-DRIVING SYSTEM FOR SMART VEHICLES
This paper proposes a digital driving behavior model for analyzing the possible correlations or causal relationships between an intelligent vehicle, an in-vehicle information system, the intelligent road traffic information network, and the driver. The model can be used to simulate and analyze driver behavior during maneuvers such as lane changing, lane following, and traffic avoidance. Focus is on showing that a digital driver support system can aid in the development of human-centered intelligent vehicles.
