CITY REHABS HISTORIC BRIDGE
Contractors were able to rehabilitate Newark, Ohio's East Main Street Bridge quickly and economically while taking into account community needs and concerns. Due to its historical significance, the city determined that renovation and restoration was a better option than replacement. By coordinating schedules, working with subcontractors and taking into consideration vehicle and pedestrian traffic, contractors were able to give Newark residents a better version of the historic bridge while keeping costs and reconstruction time to a minimum.
