OFF-AIRPORT LOT IN DENVER SAID TO BE "WORLD'S LARGEST"
The off-airport parking facility at Denver International Airport may soon enable the facility to claim the title of being the world's largest private airport parking facility. Doubling the its current size to about 8,000 parking spaces, the facility will finally be able to accommodate most if not all of its customers on holidays. Given the expansive physical size of the airport property, a large bus fleet is needed to maintain low shuttle wait times. The facility will maintain 18 buses to shuttle customers to the airport, in addition to supplying a dispatcher, mechanic, and counter help to ensure smooth operations. The company, which offers discounts and rates lower than the standard for covered parking, relates that their Internet site has been successful in both easing operations and serving as a marketing tool. The web site allows patrons to take advantages of online coupons, easier reservations and frequent user programs.
