SACRIFICIAL CATHODIC PROTECTION OF RC-STRUCTURES USING A ZINC-HYDROGEL ANODE--INVESTIGATIONS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS
This paper presents investigations on the effectiveness of the zinc-hydrogel anode (ZHA) to control reinforcement corrosion on reinforced concrete structures. The aim was to find out how parameters such as reinforcement content and position of the anode affect the ZHA effectiveness. It was found that the production current density and polarization of the reinforcement are highly affected by both parameters.
