LIGHTING OF HIGHWAYS AND MOTORWAYS
VERLICHTING VAN AUTOWEGEN EN AUTOSNELWEGEN
Some construction details of the catenary lighting system are given. A comparison is made of lighting characteristics of both catenary and conventional lighting systems. Not only in quality criteria recommended by the commission internationale de l'eclairage, but also in other lighting aspects catenary lighting is thought to be the better of the two. Finally the cost relation - concerning investment and annual costs - is worked out for installations of both systems. /TRRL/
