THE USE OF THIRD-PARTY LOGISTICS SERVICES BY EUROPEAN INDUSTRY. IN: TRANSPORT LOGISTICS
The research described in this paper forms a part of a joint study into the use of third-party logistics (TPL) services in the United States and Europe. The research focus for both regions was as follows: extent to which companies use TPL services; specific third party services used; user benefits which have emerged; obstacles encountered in implementing third party services; impact of third party services on logistics costs, customer satisfaction, and employees; and future extension of TPL services by users.
