RECYCLED AGGREGATE FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE?
The paper discusses the results of a research by the German Committee of Reinforced Concrete that identified several important properties of recycled aggregate concrete and compared them with properties of concrete made with natural aggregates. Information from the study has been used to establish requirements for the composition and properties of recycled aggregate and to set limits on the amount of recycled aggregate allowed in reinforced concrete.
