ARTIFICIAL VISION IN ROAD VEHICLES
This paper presents a survey of some of the most advanced approaches to road -following tasks using onboard systems that are based on artificial vision. The functionalities related to lane detection obstacle detection and pedestrian detection are described and classified, and their possible application to future road vehicles is also discussed.
