INORGANIC ZINC COATINGS FOR IMMERSION (TANK LINING) SERVICE
This report, prepared by NACE Task Group T-6A-25, was written to describe the state-of-the-art of using inorganic zinc coatings for the lining of steel tanks to contain chemicals and certain natural products. Although every attempt is made to be factual in the coverage of application and chemical resistance tables and physical properties, it should be recognized that changes in compounding formulations of inorganic materials for coatings and linings enhance or detract from their inherent corrosion resistance characteristics.
