A FAST DYNAMIC BACKCALCULATION OF LAYER MODULI USING AXI-SYMMETRIC APPROACH

The paper has briefly described the dynamic backcalculation method. the results obtained are presented and discussed, and the following conclusions are made: both layer modulus and also layer damping coefficient can be estimated by dynamic backcalculation; more number of unknown parameters can be identified with less number of deflection sensors by employing dynamic backcalculation; is dynamic backcalculation is conducted, effects of material nonlinearility as well as erroneous deflection data are clearly appeared on backcalculated results; and the use of truncated singular value decomposition ensures that minimization of the objective function is achieved.
