DEMAND FOR SPACE DRIVES OUT STUDENTS
Universities and colleges in the UK are paying an increasing amount of attention to parking management. Campus parking is primarily for staff. Parking for students can be very limited. Most universities operate permit schemes. Disabled bays are nearly always provided and motorcyclists may be offered concessions. Fees vary, with income generally covering the costs. Details are given of parking management at Bristol, Cambridge and Sussex universities.
