ACCESSIBLE INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT OF ERGONOMIC GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEMS
This paper reports the revision of ergonomic guidelines for passenger communication and information systems, and the validation of the guidelines by applying the draft to the design of the new transit terminal in the city of Eugene, Oregon, USA. The main conclusion of the validation was that it was important to involve the client in all aspects of the project.
