DEVELOPING STRATEGY AND FRAMEWORK OF RAILWAY INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IN CHINA
In this paper, the authors describe the process involved in developing a strategy for Railroad Intelligent Transportation Systems (RITS). They also discuss the framework, present a technology-oriented flow chart for RITS, and describe possible demonstration projects of RITS in China. These include a RITS for a railroad station in Shanghai and a railroad station dispatching system in Zhengzhoubei.
