ATTITUDE SURVEYS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SCHEMES
The London borough of Camden has adopted a policy of limiting traffic flows in minor roads by environmental management implemented on an area basis. Over the past year there have been a number of surveys of local people's attitudes towards recently implemented or proposed environmental schemes in three locations within the borough. This paper critically examines the techniques employed, the results obtained and the value of the attitude surveys as a form of public participation.(a) /TRRL/
