VEHICLE-INDUCED LOADS ON TRAFFIC SIGN PANELS
This paper presents a mathematical model for the vehicle-induced load on a flat sign panel that gives analytical results and simultaneously explains the main characteristics of the phenomena of vehicle-induced loads on traffic sign panels. The results of the theoretical model help to explain the behavior observed in the experiments performed in earlier studies.
