SANTIAGO FREEWAY BELOW THE RIVERBED
The paper presents a discussion about the construction of Santiago freeway below the riverbed of Rio Mapocho. The two Telebelt TB 105 conveyors are used to pave the dry concrete mixes to form the roof slab of the tunnel in the riverbed. The freeway has three traffic lanes in each direction as well as numerous access points and exits and several bridges.
